Executive Decree No. 12, published on June 30, 2026, repeals Executive Decree No. 176 of November 23, 2015, which had required Dominican Republic nationals to obtain a stamped entry visa before traveling to Panama.
The repeal took effect immediately upon publication.
Practical Effect
Dominican Republic citizens no longer need to complete the stamped visa process before traveling to Panama.
The change reduces pre-travel administrative requirements, but travelers must still meet any other applicable immigration and entry rules based on the purpose of their trip.
