British Columbia issued 279 invitations to high economic impact candidates in its latest British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program draw, held on June 18, 2026. The draw targeted Skills Immigration candidates and used two selection factors: wage or salary tied to a TEER 0–3 job offer, and profile registration score.
June 18 BCPNP draw details
The June 18 draw was the BCPNP’s 13th selection round of 2026 and its seventh draw of the year targeting Skills Immigration candidates.
Of the 279 invitations issued, the majority were based on registration score, representing 53.4% of the total.
| Selection factor | Requirement | Minimum score |
|---|---|---|
| Wage/salary + job offer | TEER 0–3 job offer with offered wage of at least $62/hour, or about $125,000/year | N/A |
| Registration score | Minimum point total | 136 |
British Columbia did not publish the occupations or sectors of the candidates invited in this draw.
The selection criteria fall under British Columbia’s “Innovate” initiative, which is used to issue high economic impact invitations to “top talent in all sectors.”
Other selection factors may be used in future draws
Not all high economic impact invitations are based only on wage, salary, job offer, or registration score. Future Skills Immigration invitations may be based on one or more of the following factors:
- Education, including level, field of study, and where the education was completed;
- Professional designation in British Columbia;
- Length and skill level of work experience;
- Language proficiency;
- Occupation;
- Wage and/or skill level of the job offer;
- Intention to live and work in a specific region of the province;
- Strategic priorities supporting provincial labour market needs, projects, or initiatives.
