TPS EAD Extension Update

USCIS extended certain TPS-related employment authorization documents to July 10, 2026, for nationals covered by several Temporary Protected Status designations. The update affects work authorization documentation while lower courts implement the Supreme Court’s ruling in Mullin v. Doe.

The extension applies to TPS-related EADs for the following countries:

  • Haiti
  • Syria
  • Burma
  • Somalia
  • Yemen
  • Ethiopia
  • South Sudan

The July 10, 2026 date is described as a temporary placeholder for I-9, E-Verify, and SAVE purposes. It is not an official TPS termination date.

Affected individuals, employers, and benefit-verifying agencies should check the relevant USCIS TPS country pages for further updates.
